WHAT MAKES LIGHT BEAUTIFUL
That’s the question founder Illya set out to answer in 2020, after his wife challenged him to explain what truly makes lighting flattering. Instead of guessing, he ran hundreds of real-world tests — photographing controlled setups with every diffusion, modifier, and reflector he could find.
He anonymized the results and asked top cinematographers and gaffers to pick their favorites. Again and again, one surface stood out.
That experiment became Betty Luminous

OUR TECHNOLOGY
The Betty Luminous Reflector uses a unique micro-polymer surface to deliver Fresnel-like directionality with a gentle Gaussian fall-off — soft, sculpted light that looks incredible on skin.
Each reflector features dual-sided coatings and a magnet-based mounting system that makes setup fast, intuitive, and rock solid. They're fully modular — link multiple panels together into larger sources, swap orientations on the fly, and rig them anywhere from yokes to speed rails.
